4 Essentials in My Autumn Wardrobe | What I Wore

I thought for today’s style post I would do something a bit different and show you a few essential pieces in my autumn wardrobe. Here they are:

ANKLE BOOTS. This will probably not surprise you if you’ve been following my blog for a while, since I wear ankle boots in almost every blog post. They are usually very comfortable and easy to walk in, even if they do have a bit of heel – mainly because it’s a block heel or a wedge-type of heel. I have these three pairs that I wear on rotation, depending on what goes with my outfit. I noticed that there are a lot of statement ankle boots that are very on trend at the moment, so I might look into those as well. I got the ankle boots as follows: black pair – Deichmann; brown pair – Deichmann; burgundy pair – Stradivarius.

BLANKET SCARVES. These make you feel like you’re still wrapped up and cosy in bed, even if you’re out and about running errands in cold weather. I also think they look so good with simple outfits, making them stand out more and giving more colour to any outfit. The burgundy blanket scarf is from Italy (I got it recently on our honeymoon, but I can’t remember the name of the store), and the red & green one is from Sammydress last year.

FAUX FUR VESTS. Both of the ones that I show in this post are from Bershka. The fur feels really lovely and soft, not at all cheaply made. I love throwing these over a casual sweater or over a white shirt to keep me cosy and to style up the outfit.

CHUNKY KNITS. Knitwear is probably everyone’s must-have for the autumn/winter season. A chunky sweater is easily paired with skinny jeans and a pair of boots – and you’re good to go. The ones that are pictured above are from: beige sweater – H&M; burgundy sweater – H&M (from a few years ago); grey sweater – New Look.
