They use responsibly sourced, local ingredients and they are famous for using British Wagyu beef to make their signature dish, Wagyu Beef Bolognese.
Word has it that the wagyu beef is simmered for 5 hours until the meat is caramelised, which turns it into a velvety texture. This particular dish has been on their menu for the past 8 years and is their most popular one.
They also have a really nice set menu for Mother’s Day, so it’s worth having a look if you are undecided on a gift for that special mum in your life. An experience like this and a day spent together is sure to be a win.
Bamboo bath caddy + pamper bits
If there’s one thing most mums need, that’s a relaxing, pampering, self-care kind of day (or evening).
Putting together a little pamper set is definitely going to be appreciated.
I recently bought myself this bamboo bath caddy and it’s so lovely to put all your pamper essentials on it, skincare products, a nice candle, along with a glass of your drink of choice (whether that’s wine, hot cocoa or a tea).
New Mum Basket
For that expecting mum or the mum who’s recently given birth – put together a nice basket or hamper with little bits that they might find useful or lovely items for their newborn baby.
Sure, you can buy ready made gift hampers if you’re short on time, but I think it’s a bit more personal and special if you put it together yourself.
A few ideas of what you could put in the basket: baby book, soft blanket, baby muslins, candle, soft toy, a throw for the mother, their favourite tea, chocolates etc.
Even better, get a basket that they can use afterwards for storage for toys or baby items in their nursery.

Put together a photo album with your favourites pictures together, photos of their children, special moments and memories.
It such a simple, yet effective gift that they will cherish forever.

If you’re still uncertain about what to get them, play it safe. Buy them a gift card to their favourite store.
Spoil them to a day of shopping and they will surely enjoy it.
