What to pack for a beach vacation with a babybeach umbrellas at the Romanian sea-sidefamily picture traveling tips

Happy Wednesday! For today’s post I figured I would do something a bit different than my usual outfit posts. I wanted to share with you a few outfits that I wore on our beach vacation last month, along with my tips for traveling with a baby. I’m also sharing my list of things I packed for my 9 month old (at the time).

Obviously, things change when you travel with a baby that is older than 6 months, because you have to take into consideration solids as well. Because I didn’t know what would be available at the hotel to give to Victor, I decided to get jars of baby food, as well as some fruit squeeze pouches and some snacks. It was perfect this way! I also got some disposable bibs from Lidl, so I wouldn’t have to worry about washing those in the hotel room.

The things you need in terms of feeding will certainly depend on whether you’re breastfeeding or formula feeding. I am currently exclusively pumping and I supplement with a bit of formula, so I had to bring a whole bunch of things for that (which you will see on the list below).

For sleeping, we brought a travel crib that we got from Hauck and it was really practical. For naps during the day I used the Isara baby carrier a lot, so I would highly recommend using one on vacation. It’s really easy to put my baby to sleep in the baby carrier, so I loved the convenience of it. We also brought the stroller but didn’t end up using it that much. It was nice to have though.

It’s definitely very different going on vacation when you have a baby with you, so don’t expect to be sipping your cocktails carelessly on a beach lounger. It was honestly the best, yet the most exhausting vacation I had in my entire life – haha! ūüôā But we made some lovely memories and Victor explored a whole new world with the sea and the sand on the beach, so that’s all that matters.
