You know when your house is full of stuff, and you feel the need to sort it out?

I’m not saying the solution is to go on Amazon and buy more things. I’m also not saying you need everything perfectly labelled. Yet there are a few products that can help you create better systems that support you and your home. Today I am sharing 15 Amazon products for a clutter-free home.

15 items that help me keep a clutter-free home as a busy mom of two

And before we get into it, just a quick note that none of these products are going to work if we already have an overstuffed home—and that was me a few years ago. So my recommendation is to start with decluttering. And if you need help in that area, I’ve got a free decluttering checklist right here.

1. Cereal containers

I used to have random cereal boxes in my cupboard. I would then sometimes buy extra, ending up with my cupboards full of bags and boxes. It just wasn’t working very well for us.

Transparent cereal containers are much more helpful in seeing exactly how much I have in my cupboards so I don’t overbuy things.

This doesn’t mean you have to decant every single item in your cupboards or pantry in a transparent container. But decanting at least some of them—especially the ones that are in a loose bag—can be super helpful in streamlining your kitchen cupboards and creating more space.

2. Pots and pans

I have reduced the number of pots and pans we own and have swapped to mostly stainless steel ones.

My pots are by Tefal. One of my pans is the Always Pan. The other pan is probably my favourite one that I use all the time—it’s a stainless steel Pyrex pan. Stainless steel is non-toxic, so it’s much better for your health compared to all of the non-stick ones. So I try to go for either stainless steel or ceramic ones.

I find that having just a few quality pots and pans actually makes a big difference. I don’t need that many in my cupboard to create the meals I want.

3. Simple containers

You can find loads of these on Amazon, or you can get them from Ikea – that’s where we got most of ours.

They are really handy for organising kitchen cabinets. I use some of them in the bathroom for my makeup products. We also use several of them for organising Legos. There’s just a multitude of functions for these little containers.

And if there’s one thing I found that really helps, especially in kitchen cupboards where there are shelves, it’s to try to use containers to create drawers. A pull-out container makes it a lot easier to access all the things in it. They also stay contained instead of being all over the place, and it’s just a really helpful way to organise things in the kitchen.

4. Spice jars and a spice rack

The spice rack we have was kindly left to us by the previous owners, which I actually really love the look of. But it’s also super practical because it means not everything is laid out on my kitchen counters.

It’s making much use of vertical space, and I find it helpful. And because I’m using transparent spice jars, I can see at a glance if there are any ingredients we’re running out of so I can add them to my food shop list.

I find this brilliant for keeping my kitchen clutter-free and organised as well.

5. Multi-function blender

Mine is one of those hand blenders that actually has multiple functions. It has a type of blender where you can put things in a container and blend them up. It also has an attachment for a whisk. And it has an immersion blender, which is really helpful when making cream soup.

If you’re finding yourself short on space in your kitchen, then a multi-function blender might be a good idea. It’s a three-in-one, and I find that I can pretty much use this for whatever I’m cooking.

I found that I don’t need any extra appliances—it’s definitely replaced many of those bulky kitchen gadgets and it doesn’t take up much space but is really functional for us.

6. Toy shelf

One of my favourite purchases from Amazon is a Montessori-style toy shelf I got for my toddler’s room. It’s the perfect size so she can reach all the shelves. It’s really sturdy, with rounded corners, so I feel like it’s very safe for her to play around. And it’s such a beautiful space for me to lay out her toys.

7. Drawer dividers

Some drawers, like the one in my bedroom wardrobe, are really useful for organising. I like to have containers or drawer dividers so I can easily sort things—keeping all the socks in one bin, all the bras in another—so they’re not all jumbled up in one drawer. You can use little storage bins or any of those drawer dividers, which can be super helpful as well.

8. Jewellery organiser

Another thing I’m using to keep my jewellery clutter-free is a jewellery box. It’s stackable, so you can add more layers if you need extra space.

For me, I mainly keep jewellery in the top compartment—it’s perfect for little earrings or necklaces, so they don’t get tangled.

The bottom compartment I’ve repurposed for sewing supplies, like threads and needles, for when I need to mend clothes. This has been such a practical solution for organising smaller items.

9. Letter holder

In the hallway, our little letter holder is one of those simple things that makes a big difference.

I like having an inbox system, so when we come through the door, there’s one spot where all the incoming mail can go. This includes things I need to address, like forms to fill out or appointments to confirm.

Junk mail goes straight into the recycling, but anything I need to handle gets placed in this holder. It keeps all that paperwork contained instead of spread out across surfaces. It’s a small tool but a really helpful one!

10. Charging station

In our living room, I like to have a designated charging station. For this, I use cable clips, some cable ties, and a little holder that sticks to the wall, so I can keep the cables organised.

Cable management can be such a big issue—having cables lying around on surfaces or floors can not only be a bit dangerous if you have small children but also an eyesore. Plus, it’s annoying when you’re trying to clean or vacuum and have to move them out of the way. All these little things can take up more time than we realise.

Creating a dedicated charging station has been a total game-changer for us.

11. Label maker

I also find my label maker incredibly handy. And I’m not saying you need to label every single item in your home, but there are times when it just makes sense—especially to help other members of the family know where things are.

For example, I’ve labelled some bins in my son’s wardrobe where the contents aren’t visible. It’s so helpful to know what’s inside without having to dig through everything first.

12. Command hooks

Another thing I use a lot around the house is Command hooks. They’re fantastic for keeping things off the floors.

For instance, in our under-stairs cupboard—the space where we keep coats, shoes, backpacks, and hats—all those random little items used to end up scattered on the floor. Now, I’ve added some Command hooks to the walls, and I use them to hang hats, backpacks, and even our carrier bags.

It’s such a simple solution, but it makes a huge difference in keeping the area organised and clutter-free.

13. Hyacinth baskets

A few things I also like having in the living room are woven baskets. I find them really helpful because, for one, they look beautiful and add a cosy touch to the room, but they also serve many practical purposes.

For example, we have one basket near the garden entrance where we keep garden shoes, and another under the coffee table for storing remotes and small items.

Placing them in strategic spots makes the space look inviting while also keeping mess and clutter at bay.

14. Felt baskets

Another type of basket I use a lot is the felt basket. I used to have one as a nappy caddy, but now that my baby is a bit older, I repurpose it for my camera equipment.

They’re a great option for keeping things organised while maintaining a neat, minimal look. And I’ve found them really useful for organising the kids’ toys in the unit in the living room.

They’re incredibly versatile! We have some felt storage baskets from IKEA, but you can find similar ones on Amazon or in many other places.

15. Storage bins

We also like using the Wham storage bins for storage. We have a few in the loft and the shed outside—some for gardening tools, others for cables, cords, and tech items that my husband likes to keep.

I also use them for Christmas decor, Halloween decorations, and similar items—each category has its own bin. They protect the contents from dust and moisture, and they’re also a great way to keep everything categorised and in one place rather than scattered around the loft or shed.
