Chunky Cardigan Outfit and Dainty Necklace

Happy Wednesday! Today I’m sharing one of my favourite outfits at the moment: a chunky cardigan outfit with a dainty necklace.

I am obsessed at the moment with fine pieces of jewelry like this gold Obelisk pendant necklace that I was kindly gifted.

I think golden jewelry makes any outfit look more classy. And, to be honest, if I had a choice between only wearing dainty jewelry or only wearing statement pieces – I would, without a doubt, go for the dainty fine ones.

Do you prefer fine jewelry or statement pieces?

I am wearing here this basic white square neck bodysuit, which I love wearing under a cosy layer of knitwear to keep me warm.

This chunky cardigan is perfect for that and the statement buttons on it definitely give it a bit more style.

Another piece I recently added to my wardrobe is this camel wool felt hat. It is the absolute perfect accessory to make any outfit look more stylish.

I never used to wear hats like this, but I am a complete convert now.

I just make sure not to wear them when it’s super windy outside (bye, storm Ciara – haha).

What colours are you loving at the moment?

I am definitely leaning a lot towards neutral shades in my wardrobe – creams, camel tones, browns, whites, off-whites. Love, love, love these.

I have been adding a lot more neutral pieces to my wardrobe lately and I do think it helps a lot coming up with outfit ideas because most neutral pieces just go really well together.

In other news, I feel like we’re finally nearing the end of this winter and I couldn’t be happier.

As a toddler mum, I’m excited to be able to spend more time outside and have more activities to do with little ones – it’s so much easier. Longer days, warmer days, sunshine, less layers – so happy about it all!

Do you guys have any plans for Valentine’s Day?

Our plans include: ordering a nice takeaway, watching a good movie (still to be decided, haha) and crashing early – because our toddler is a very early riser.

But, you know what?

We actually love that and wouldn’t trade it for the world! It’s crazy how much parenthood changes you.
