Summer is right around the corner, so I thought today I will share with you a few spring and summer outfit ideas for those warm days.
We’re all at home in loungewear at the moment, aren’t we? But I thought it would be fun to put together a few outfits for our daily walk or just spending time in the garden. Or for when we finally get to spend more time outdoors.
The past couple of weeks, the weather has been incredible here in London, so I was excited to wear these summer dresses, even if just around the house. We’re back to typical british rainy weather now as I’m writing this, but hopefully we’ll see more sun soon. What’s it like where you live?
I bought a few items from Boohoo recently and I am impressed by the quality and the cute selection of clothes they have. I loved Primark when we first moved to the UK, which I still do – but obviously all their stores are closed at the moment. So I was pleasantly surprised by Boohoo.
4 Spring Summer Outfit Ideas
Denim Smock Dress
I spotted this denim dress a while back on the Boohoo app, but it went out of stock super fast – for good reason. So I kept checking back in hopes that it would come back in stock. And it did!
I grabbed it so fast and it seems like it’s now out of stock again, but if you’re interested in it, I would say check back once in a while because they do bring things back in stock sometimes.
It is a lovely fine fabric, not a thick denim dress, which I love because it’s much more breezy and comfortable for those hot summer days.
I paired this dress with a camel felt hat, which I bought from Primark a while back. It is such a great accessory for a lot of outfits, both during summer, but also during autumn/winter.
I also love wearing layered necklaces these days and I think they go great with this outfit.
Denim / Chambray Shirt
Another classic piece that I wanted to add to my wardrobe this spring is a chambray/denim shirt. I picked this classic-toned denim one which is slightly oversized, but still has a good structure to it.
It is also a fine denim, not a thick fabric, which is perfect for spring and summer. It is a great layering piece and I’m excited to create more outfits with this one.
For this look, I paired the denim shirt with a white bodysuit underneath. I am loving bodysuits at the moment and I’ve got multiple colours in my wardrobe. They are such great basic pieces for a lot of different outfits.
To keep it casual for wearing around the house, I paired this outfit with some basic black leggings. Anyone else living in leggings these days?
Moving on from leggings, my next choice is obviously joggers for lounging around the home. I’m pretty certain that joggers have become the uniform for staying home these days, haven’t they?
You can’t beat the comfort of them and I think they look quite nice paired with a fitted top. I am wearing again here a bodysuit that I love. This one is a long sleeve v-neck bodysuit and I think these are so flattering.
I chose a pair of joggers in this brighter pink shade, because I wanted to bring a bit more colour into my spring and summer wardrobe. I do have a few more basic coloured ones too and they are quite nice for neutral outfits.
I fell in love with this pink pleated skirt the second that I saw in online, so I had to grab it. What a gorgeous piece to pair with different spring looks!
It is a midi length one, which I find to be quite a nice length for a more classy look. I paired the skirt with a white short-sleeve bodysuit and I think these go great together.
I would wear the skirt with either a white or a black fitted top, or maybe with an oversized sweatshirt for a more effortless-chic look. I would also throw in a pair of white converse for a casual look.
There is also a try-on video haul with spring outfit ideas, if you’d like to see what the outfits look like on live 🙂
Which outfit or piece was your favourite? What are you excited to wear more of this spring and summer?
