So if you’re just starting out, don’t put too much pressure on yourself. We can all get a bit too critical of ourselves when it comes to that “perfect” Instagram shot.

1. Mirror selfie sitting down
For this pose, sit down in front of a mirror, ideally a full length one. Put one foot forward towards the mirror and cross the other leg under. Then relax your hands on your knees and take the snap.
2. Fling that handbag
Use your handbag as the perfect prop for a relaxed pose. Put one foot forward or to the side and fling your bag forwards or backwards. This pose is a really dynamic one with lots of movement and it works really well for outfit pictures.
3. Hold your flowers and your hat
Some useful props for your pictures could be your hat and a flower bouquet or just a few stems of flowers. Hold the flowers in one hand and grab your hat with the other, for an effortless look.
